Below is info for Saturday, FEB. 24. More to come on Saturday, MARCH 30. It will be posted in the News section on this website! We’ll accept unopened perishables and nonperishables.* The food will go directly to Lifeline Pantry at St. Jerome, just over the bridge in Largo.
Mid-isle: Travelers in the middle of the island can drop off at the Reef Club condo building, in the parking area. Address: 1000 Gulf Blvd. (on the beach side)
Travelers leaving via the Belleair Causeway toward Belleair/West Bay Blvd. or heading north on Gulf Blvd. can drop off at the parking area of Sea Gypsy Beach Shop & Rentals/Gulf to Bay Real Estate. Address: 2701 Gulf Blvd. (on right side heading north)
Travelers leaving via the Walsingham Bridge toward Largo/Walsingham Blvd./Ulmerton Road, can drop off at the parking area of P.J.’s Oyster Bar. Address: 415 2nd St. (Just off Walsingham on right side heading east)
Volunteers will be there to collect your unopened perishables and nonperishables.
*Unopened perishables can include packages that are open as long as the product is wrapped or has a shell, for instance eggs, single-slice wrapped cheese, fruit with skins, etc.
The photo above is what we collected from the Reef Club only in two hours in March 2023 with little advance notice. We hope to multiply this amount many, many times over.
